How to deal with deformations and oil canning
Concentric or spot shrinking removes buckles, dents and oil canning from sheets and pressed components. Fast and precise, without heat. For mild steel sheets up to 2,0 mm thickness and light alloys up to 3,0 mm.
The tool jaws grab the material inserted and push it together concentrically with each stroke applied. This shortens the area worked on and removes tensions or distortions.
Types:
FWS | for removing dents in sheet metal by cencentric shrinking |
LFS | for removing dents in sheet metal, no-mar, avoids teethmarks |
