General brochure ECKOLD Sheet metal forming

The criteria for selecting the appropriate machine are the required horizontal reach – depending on the size of the workpiece to be processed – and the required forming capacity, which is determined by the material of the sheet metal or profile and its thickness. The horizontal reach of ECKOLD forming machines ranges from the HF 100 Handformer forming machine with 100 mm to the KF 800 Kraftformer power forming machine with 800 mm. The maximum sheet thickness is up to 6 mm (for steel with Rm ~400 N/mm²) for the most powerful machine, the Kraftformer KF 675 machine. Large tools are required for thick materials, while smaller tools are needed for thinner sheet metal. We will be happy to advise you. With thicker sheet metal, the size and weight of the workpiece must also be taken into account, as this has a significant impact on how the workpiece can be handled by the operator.
