How to form metal parts by increasing the length of the edge.

Precisely controlled stretching of the area worked on allows three dimensional forming and profile bending of radii and curves without problems.

Eckold Stretching tools are available for sheet thicknesses from 0,5 to 6,0 mm and with diameters from 40 mm to 130 mm. The four tool jaws grab the material inserted and push it outwards with each stroke applied. This extends the area worked on and causes the workpiece to bend. A large number of strokes applied with moderate pressure ensure the best possible forming result.
