I’ve heard that Eckold has launched a new generation of tools. Can I still get spare parts for my old tools?
Answer:
As long as we have spare parts for the older model in stock, we will continue to supply them. In this regard, it should be noted that the new generation of tools is limited solely to round-profile upsetting and drawing tools with steel inserts (FWA and FWR series). Spare parts are still available for all other types of tools.

Question:
I have some faulty old-generation tools that fit my machine. Can I replace these 1:1 with the new tools, or are the new tools no longer compatible with my machine?
Answer:
With a few exceptions, the new tools are fully compatible. The new tools cannot be fitted to Eckold Kraftformer machines with the model designations KF 400, KF 653 C or KF 653 CV. These machines have different tool holders (shank clamping).
The tools are compatible with Eckold Kraftformer models with the type designations KF 309, KF 310, KF 314, KF 320, KF 330, KF 324, KF 340, KF 460, KF 665, KF 470 and KF 675.
The new range of tools is also compatible with the pneumatically operated KF 800 and KF 170PD power formers and the HF 100 and HF 100PA hand formers.
